Chapter Two reveals terrifying Pennywise return to horror franchise

In the first teaser trailer for the anticipated second half of the story, It: Chapter Two, the Losers' Club aren't kids anymore. It seems that Pennywise's influence has already spread as there are red balloons and weird happenings all over the small town.

It: Chapter Two also stars Kiwi actor Jay Ryan (Go Girls) as the adult Ben.

After the commercial and critical success of the first part, the makers are back with the sequel to Andy Muschietti's adaptation of Stephen King's classic horror tale IT.

The movie reunites the Losers Club as adults however, the young cast from the first film also feature.

Despite spending most of its time in the present day, we do see a few golden-hued glimpses of the gang back in their "80s glory in the trailer". Bill Denbrough (James McAvoy) stares intensely at the sewer that Pennywise used to lure his little brother to his death almost three decades prior.

Staring off innocently enough, she asks the elderly homeowner about family pictures in the home, before it culminates into a nightmarish scene where Beverly soon realises Pennywise is lurking within the house.

As the old lady prepares tea, she's seen appearing to flail in the background, before bugs gather ominously on a window pane. The attackers do a lot of damage to Adrian before throwing him off a shallow bridge, and while it's not clear if they want to kill him, Pennywise shows up to finish the job, biting him and cracking his ribs.

Chastain is joined by James McAvoy and Bill Hader, who portray the older versions of Bill Denborough and Richie Tozier, respectively.

Now, to really drive home the point, the first trailer for It: Chapter Two has arrived. The earlier released It became a huge box office hit, earning over $700 million worldwide.
