That latest report shows the parents of alleged victim #JoycelynSavage were threatened by Kelly's managers, #DonRussell and James Mason, before and after their cooperation with the docu-series "Surviving R. Kelly".

CNN.com reports, "The incident, which allegedly took place in May 2018, was reported by Timothy Savage to Henry County police".

A video resurfaced last week of Kelly claiming that the #MuteRKelly movement is "too late" and that they should have "done this shit 30 years ago".

Nearly a year later, Kelly was arrested in Florida after authorities found digital images of the singer involved in sex acts with an underage girl, but those charges were dropped over a dispute on the search warrant.

The Lifetime series reported that their daughter has repeatedly denied that Kelly has done anything wrong and has said she doesn't want to talk to her family.

Greenberg says the state's attorney shouldn't be soliciting cases, adding there are no current complaints and no evidence because it didn't happen. The Savages claim they have not seen their daughter in two years.

In 2008, a Cook County jury found Kelly not guilty on 14 counts of child pornography charges.

According to a marriage certificate that was uncovered in the '90s, Kelly had secretly married the Detroit singer Aaliyah Haughton when she was just 15. Despite years of petitions and calls for Kelly's longtime label home, RCA Records, to part ways with the singer, he remained on the company's roster at press time. The Lifetime series interviewed women who said they were physically assaulted, had to ask for permission to eat or use the restroom and were taped engaging in sex acts.

He settled at least three lawsuits accusing him of having sex with underage girls filed between 1997 and 2002. It remains unclear if the person who called the police was pranking Kelly, or if the person actually thought there was an arrest warrant.

Kelly rose from poverty on Chicago's South Side to become a star singer, songwriter and producer.
