Broncos QB Chad Kelly arrested on trespassing charge

Engelwood, Colorado police say the Broncos' backup quarterback was arrested early Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2018, on suspicion of criminal trespass into a home in Englewood.

Officers responded to the 3200 block of South Lincoln Street about 1:15 a.m. on a report of a man standing outside a residence.

Kelly is alleged to have entered a couple's home without permission early in the morning, and sat down on a couch near the front door next to a woman and her young child. Torres hit the man with an aluminum vacuum tube on his back trying to get him to leave. The homeowner claims both doors were locked, but police found no signs of forced entry.

If Kelly did not have alcohol in his system and was in some random family's living room mumbling incoherently, what are we to deduce from that? All options - including release - on the table for Kelly.
