Hugo Lloris set to REMAIN captain despite drink-driving admission

France's World Cup-winning captain Hugo Lloris avoided jail but received a 20-month driving ban and a £50,000 ($65,000) fine on Wednesday for drink-driving in central London.

But boss Mauricio Pochettino will confirm today that the World Cup victor will retain the armband ahead of Saturday's clash with Liverpool. He said he was guilty and responsible.

Pochettino said that Lloris has beaten himself up over his mistake but deserved a second chance.
