Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Will Feature A Single-Player Classic Mode

The Direct opened with an announcement that nearly wasn't a surprise: Simon Belmont, the protagonist of the original 1986 Castlevania, is joining the fray in Ultimate, complete with his trademark axe, holy water, cross-shaped boomerang, and health-restoring pot roasts. Along with the new characters, Dracula's Castle will be a fresh level in Super Smash Bros.

A recent press demo, covered by Japanese video game magazine Famitsu and translated by gaming website Source Gaming, revealed that not every stage from the Super Smash Bros. history will make it to Ultimate, unlike the characters.

Dracula, the big bad of the Castlevania series, will appear under undisclosed conditions, and his son Alucard is joining as new assist trophy.

For fans that want it all, My Music lets players select specific music tracks for each stage.

The Oscars Will Be Adding A New Category To Honor ‘Popular’ Movies
Other planned changes include the televised Oscars show being cut down to three hours (an hour shorter than usual). This is likely to get out of the way of some of the other awards ceremonies that take place around that time.

Just as well, we'll see a new batch of Assist Trophies added in Ultimate too. As you may expect, they're based on Samus and Marth respectively, though unlike Richter their play styles and attacks vary slightly from their base characters.

A Squad Strike mode will allow players to do battle in 5 vs 5 or 3 vs 3 formats, and as always all game play options can be enjoyed on-the-go.

Here's some more Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the Japanese company has also revealed that the highly-anticipated fighting game will be compatible with the classic GameCube controllers.

A GameCube controller has been the preferred input for pro-level and diehard Smash Bros. players ever since Super Smash Bros.

Manchester United fans disappointed with Jerome Boateng links
Rashford wore the number 10 short, previously the Old Trafford property of the likes of Wayne Rooney and Zlatan Ibrahimovic . There is no reason why they shouldn't prove themselves to be one of the best midfields in the Premier League .

We haven't had one of those since The Subspace Emissary in Super Smash Bros. The amount of content that's here, whether it's all of the characters, stages, assist trophies, or even music, borders on absurd. Here, players can pick from a 5-on-5 or 3-on-3 elimination battle. No two final smashes will be able to be unleashed at the same time. Though it's fairly simple, it's also quite a bit different from the other two standard modes, which focus on earning points through knock outs. You can listen to them like albums and the handheld mode of Nintendo Switch allows you to listen with the screen off, like using a mobile music player.

Training will feature an exclusive stage that measures the distance of moves both at low and high health.

There's plenty of time to make those extra reveals too, as Super Smash Bros Ultimate won't be here until December 7.
